Proverbs 13

"He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed" (v20). Bad company will bring you to destructions, pains, and confusions. Wise friends will bring you to the presence of the Lord. So be wise and learn the words of the Lord.

Have a blessed day.

Proverbs 12

"A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a man of wicked intentions He will condemn" (v2). May the Lord help all of us to be faithful and kind, obtain pure heart, clear conscience, good motive, clean speech, and do things that will glorify His holy name always.

Have a blessed day.

Proverbs 11

"There is one who scatters, yet increase more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty" (24). It means, when we scatter or share our blessings, God will bless us more. So v25 said, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself." Therefore, our daily prayer should be, "Lord make me a blessing today in every aspect of my life, amen".
God bless you all.

Proverbs 10

"When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more; but the righteous has an everlasting foundation" (v25). Whirlwind is a symbol of life testing, it will come and go. But, if our foundation is the Word of God, Jesus, the Rock that cannot be shaken, we shall always be victorious in the midst of all trials.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 9

"Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning" (v9). If we spend time with foolish men, we will never enjoy the pleasures of holy life. It is wise to keep away from their ways, or we are likely to be corrupted by them.

Happy thanksgiving.

Proverbs 8

Let us all be wise and do not refuse God's favor. It is a contempt of Wisdom's instruction when people professed godliness, but seek excusess to learn God's word. "Whoever finds wisdom finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; but those who hate wisdom love death" (v35-36).

God bless you all!

Proverbs 7

"Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them with your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart" (v2,3). Let us keep the word of God safely and we shall live; BUT keep them as those that cannot live without them. Thus we shall be kept from the disastrous effect of our own passions and snares of Satan.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 5

"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths" (v21). God sees all things and nothing can be hidden from Him. Though secret sins may escape the eyes of our fellow men, yet these are open before the eyes of our God, who ponders all of our ways.

Have a blessed day!

Proverbs 4

"Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and in all your getting, get understanding" (v7). In this world, if we want something, we are doing everything to get it. Since wisdom is the principal, take more pains to get it than the wealth, or anything else of this world. Thus, our paths will be plain before us, as we walk and run.

God bless you all!

Proverbs 3

Though our days may not be long upon the earth, but we shall live in heaven forever (v2). While on earth let's do our business with God; observe His commands, copy His example, do justice, love mercy, beware of covetousness, be ready to do good works, avoid needless strife, and be humble (v34).

Have a blessed day!

Proverbs 2

If you receive God's words, treasure His commands, incline ear to wisdom, apply heart to understanding, cry out for discernment, lift up voice for understanding, seek wisdom as silver, and search for it as hidden treasure (v1-4), "Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God" (v5). Surely, you shall never complain about your labor for God, and shall be careful to avoid all evil company and evil practices.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 1

Proverbs is a book of wisdom that gives godly instructions leading into the right path of righteousness. It differentiates the wise and fool, godly and ungodly, saints and sinners, true and fake believers. The main teaching is obedience to the moral living, with the Fear of God as the key to unlock the secret.
God bless you all.

Psalm 150

This last chapter of Psalm is stirring up our spirit to praise God. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord" (v6). The breath here is the breath of God, when Jesus breathed His Spirit upon the believers. Praise God we can praise Him because we have that power and strength.

Have a blessed day.

Psalm 147

To many Christians, there is no fear of God within them. They speak lies, and use the name of the Lord for personal gain. But to the faithful believers, the psalmist said, "The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy" (v11). The Lord is happy if we regard our relationship with Him seriously.

Have a blessed day!

Psalm 146

"The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous" (v8). Jesus Christ came to open the eyes of understanding that we may see the truth of the gospel and the depth of our calling. We are chosen to be a channel of bleesings in this world.

Have a blessed day

Psalm 145

"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth" (18). Those who are heavy laden under the burden of sin, if they come to Jesus in truth, He will ease and raise them up. Jesus is very ready to hear and answer the prayers of His people.

God bless you.

Psalm 144

"Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and finger for battle" (v1). We must be sensible on great things God has taught us to understand. As our Teacher the Lord has a purpose for training our hands and sharpening our minds to make war not in this world but in the heaven lies.
God bless you.

Psalm 140

The more danger appears, the more earnest we should be in prayer to God. As the psalmist says, "Keep me O Lord from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have purposed to make my steps stumble" (v4). We are safe in the Lord's mighty Hand. He promised that none can be against us.

God bless you all.

Psalm 139

"Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence" (v7). God has perfect knowledge of us, and all of man's thoughts and actions are open before Him. You may be used by men, and your goodness abused, God knows all things, and they are written in His book. Just don't stop doing good deeds for His glory.
God bless you.

Psalm 138

"Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar" (v6). The Lord will perfect the salvation of true believer and He will never forsake those whom He has created anew in Christ Jesus. We do good works and help the needy, not for our own interest but because we love our God.

God bless you all.
