Ecclesiastes 10

"Because of laziness the building decays, and through idleness of hands the house leaks" (v18). As we build up our faith do not allow the spirit of laziness to ruin what you have started. And be careful to any unwanted behavior that can destroy our relationship with others.

God bless and happy new year.

Ecclesiastes 9

"Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good" (v18). As we face 2012, let us not stop seeking godly wisdom and righteousness. We can only survive in this city by humbling ourselves before God and men, and by obeying what is acceptable to God.

God bless you all.

Ecclesiastes 8

"So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun (v15). With Jesus there is fullness of joy, or else men will always look for food, shelter and people all the days of their lives unsatisfied.

God bless you.

Ecclesiastes 7

"Consider the work of God, for who can make straight what He has made crooked?" (V13). All have sinned and lived a crooked living, but only God can make our ways straight. Not in our own works nor our efforts, but by the Spirit of the Lord. Praise God for His grace and forgiveness.

God bless you.

Ecclesiastes 6

"All the labor of man is for his mouth and yet the soul is not satisfied" (v7). People are without contentment for the things present before his/her eyes. Natural desires are still returning and pressing, we want more. The only One that can satisfy our desires is Jesus Who has the power to calm our worldly passion..
God bless you.

Ecclesiastes 5

"When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed" (v4). A broken promise is a mockery to God, and it brings Divine displeasure. We need to keep the spirit of the fear of God so we can fulfill God's plan through us.

God bless you.

Ecclesiastes 4

"Better a poor and wise youth, than an old and foolish king who will be admonished no more" (v13). The new but obedient Christians are far better than the old yet stubborn believers. The willing servants of the Lord rejoice in Him, and they will serve Him to all eternity.
Thank God for last night's success of our Christmas fellowship. God bless.

Ecclesiastes 3

"I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it that men should fear before Him" (v14). God's purpose in our lives is eternal and we can't change it any longer. Our job is to understand it better and fear Him.
God bless you .

Ecclesiastes 2

"As it happens to the fool, it also happens to me, and why was I then more wise?" Then I said in my heart, "This also is vanity" (v15). The most learned of men who dies without Jesus Christ will perish equally in hell with the most ignorant man who is also without Christ in life. Praise God we have Christ in us.
God bess you .

Ecclesiastes 1

"What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun?" (v3). Everything that he has will not satisfy his wants and the desires of his soul. His wealth cannot atone for his sins to save him from eternal judgment. Without Christ, he is nothing.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 31

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised" (v30). Not only applicable to women but also to men. Ancient Jewish rabbis believed that Lemuel (means, belong to God) was actually Solomon, and the mother here was Bathseba; but lack of biblical support. Whoever is he is not a big deal, what matters to God is the content of the message and our response.
God bless you all.

Proverbs 30

"Give me neither poverty nor riches, feed me with the food allotted to me, lest I be full and deny You, and say 'Who is the Lord?' Or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the name of my God." (v8,9). The idea of the proverb is to be content on what you have, lest we become foolish sinner.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 29

"Where there is no revelation the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law" (v18). The word of God is an open vision about Jesus Christ. It humbles the sinners and exalts the Savior. It gives light and right direction to keep our soul alive with God and prevent from destruction.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 27

"Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of the enemy are deceitful" (v6). The words and commands of Jesus, who is our friend are sometimes hurtful, but they are healing to our souls. But the devil's words are full of deceit and flattery, at the end destructive.

God bless you.

Proverbs 28

"He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy (v13). But why sinners are prosperous today? Yes, but only in material things and not in spiritual things. Our prosperity is in Christ Jesus who made the heavens and the each.

God bless you.

Proverbs 26

"Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him" (v27). It means any dealing we make with others, good or bad, will return upon our own heads. If it is good, we shall be blessed in return; if bad, we shall fall into the evil things we did.

God bless you.

Proverbs 25

"Whoever has no rule over his own spirit, is like a city broken down without wall" (v28). If we cannot calm our anger and indignation in time of misunderstanding, peace will be easily robbed from our hearts. Our solution is to surrender all things to God, and ask Him to cause us to walk in all His way.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 24

"A righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity" (v16). All men commit mistakes and fall, but because of God's loving kindness, the righteous may recover from ruin and rise again. We are destined to be victorious in Christ Jesus! Glory to God.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 23

"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. 'Eat and drink!' He says to you but his heart is not with you" (v7). Think God always and you will become godly thinker, think negative and you will be evil thinker. Avoid thinking negative, but think purely and positively. Your personality will be revealed the way we think about other people.

God bless you.

Proverbs 22

"The rich and poor have this in common, the Lord is the Maker of them all" (v2). And both of them will stand in God's presence on the day of Judgment, to receive what is due to them. The safest thing to do now is to surrender everything to God because He is the true Owner of our possessions.

Have a blessed day.

Proverbs 21

"Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty" (v5). Our goal should not only to be 'rich' in this world but also to be rich in the kingdom of God. Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and witnessing are essentials in good planning for our future home in heaven.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 20

"The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart" (v27). Until we got born in spirit, we are in darkness; blind, careless, unreasonable, and mindless. Then the Spirit of Christ causes us to see our real condition before God. Praise the Lord!!!

God bless you.

Proverbs 17

"Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting with strife" (v1). This verse recommends that family love, peace and harmony are far better than possessing the material wealth of this world yet with hatred and enemies. The key is Jesus who is our Prince of peace and God of love.

God bless you.

Proverbs 19

"Cease listening to instructions and you will stray from the words of knowledge" (v27). This a a good reminder to those that have enough knowledge and education to continue listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit. That they may not be drawing off from the good principles of God's word.

God bless you.

Proverbs 18

"A man who has friend must himself be friendly, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" (v24). Genuine friendship must begins from us, because the way to be beloved is to be a lovely friend. What we value is that their love is stronger even than all ties of kindred... Jesus is our great Friend.

God bless you!

Proverbs 16

"Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be stablished" (v3). If we feel tired and need someone to help us lifting the heavy burden, transfer the burden unto the Lord, surely the plan will be accomplished, because nothing is impossible to Him.

It's a blessed day indeed!

Proverbs 15

"The way of life winds UPWARD for the wise, that he may turn away from hell BELOW" (v24). That's why Christian needs to grow and move upward in the grace and knowledge of God, that he/she may leave the fire of hell behind. Move upward and grow fast, then we will be able see our Creator.

God bless you all.

Proverbs 14

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (v12). Carelessness, worldliness, and sensuality seems right to those that walk in them, simply because they make them happy and satisfied. But in the end those things are self-destructive.

God bless to all.
