Christianity teaches the believers to be joyful in time of troubles. God allows trials because it molds and refines the character of God's people. If we lack wisdom and don't understand what is going on in our surroundings, or don't know how to solve the problem that we are in, James said to seek God who gives wisdom liberally to those that asked. Afflictions cannot make us miserable, if it be not our own fault. The tried Christian shall be crowned by the Lord, those who have the love of God reigning in their hearts. As every good gift is from God, so as our being born again, and all its results and consequences in our lives. God bless.
